Teacher of Dance

We are looking to appoint an exceptional, passionate and dynamic dance teacher.  The successful applicant will join a vibrant well-established dance department which enjoys an excellent reputation.  The Dance department works closely with the other Performing Arts to create outstanding opportunities and experiences for our pupils. Dance is embedded within the Key stage 3 curriculum, and pupils can study Dance GCSE and A level. Sports Coach / PE Teacher

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, passionate and dynamic Sports Coach/PE Teacher.  The successful applicant will join a department which enjoys an outstanding reputation and is staffed by a further seven qualified PE teachers, along with specialist swimming teachers and a range of coaches and peripatetic staff.

We are seeking to appoint an individual who is excited by the opportunity to join this thriving department and who can coach to a high standard in either – Rugby or Cricket.

There is a possibility that this role may be residential, requiring the postholder to play an active role in the day-to-day running of the boarding house, residing in staff accommodation within the house.  You will be expected to take a genuine interest in the care and development of each individual boarder. If appointed on a residential basis, the role also includes working either a Saturday or Sunday each week to support activities and trips designed to enrich our boarders’ experience of British culture.

Ipswich High School is seeking an exceptional Head of Finance to play a central role in shaping the future of our school. As a key member of our senior team, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all financial services.

This is a key leadership role for someone who takes pride in high standards, clear systems and well-run spaces, and who enjoys working as part of a close-knit school community. The Operations Manager will ensure that our site, facilities and operational services are safe, compliant, well maintained and welcoming, allowing teaching and learning to flourish.

Working closely with the Head and Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will lead health and safety, estates and facilities, site security, transport oversight and contractor management. They will bring calm authority, sound judgement and a collaborative approach, balancing day-to-day operational demands with longer-term planning and improvement.

We are looking for someone who is practical, organised, proactive and solution focused, a strong leader with excellent communication skills. Proven experience in operations, facilities or estates management is essential, ideally within education or similarly regulated setting, together with a genuine commitment to safeguarding and to being an active, engaged member of the school community.

We are looking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning team.  You will have previous experience in managing others as well as understanding cleaning processes, with good administrative skills including stock ordering and management.  You will be responsible for allocating duties and monitoring standards of cleaning across the site, ensuring compliance with health and safety, including COSHH.

We are seeking to appoint new staff to join our dedicated and hardworking cleaning team.

As part of our cleaning team, you will maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of our school and boarding house. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage however not essential, as training will be provided to successful candidates. You should have good organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, be a team player and have the ability to work with limited supervision.

Duties will include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, toilet cleaning and other tasks as required. Use of machinery may be required to complete some tasks for example, floor cleaning machinery.
