Head of Finance
Salary: Competitive renumeration, based on skills, knowledge and experience

Ipswich High School is seeking an exceptional Head of Finance to play a central role in shaping the future of our school. As a key member of our senior team, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all financial services.
Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm, welcoming and happy community of over 500 pupils, aged 3 โ 18.
You will work closely with the Head, Senior Leadership Team, Directors and Governors, contributing to high-level decision-making and helping to steer the school through both day-to-day operations and long-term planning. From budget setting and financial forecasting to compliance, audit and income generation, you will lead with both precision and vision.
We are looking for someone who:
- Brings strong financial expertise (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience is essential)
- Thinks strategically and acts decisively
- Is confident advising senior leaders and challenging where appropriate
- Can lead and develop finance teams
- Understands the importance of financial stewardship in an educational setting
- Is motivated to succeed and keen to play a lead role in moving the school forward

Cleaning Supervisor

We are looking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning team.ย You will have previous experience in managing others as well as understanding cleaning processes, with good administrative skills including stock ordering and management.ย You will be responsible for allocating duties and monitoring standards of cleaning across the site, ensuring compliance with health and safety, including COSHH.
Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High Schoolย has 6 buildings plus Boarding House to maintain on a daily basis throughout the year.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has previous cleaning experience, ideally in a supervisory role
- Is organised, reliable, and able to lead a team effectively
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Can work independently and use initiative
- Has good communication skills

Lunchtime Supervisor
Lunchtime Supervisor
ย Hours: 10 hours per week, 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.ย 33.2 weeks per year, term time only

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Lunchtime Supervisor to join our wonderful team supporting the pupils during their lunch time. Duties will include support in the dining hall and supervision on the playground. An ability to engage and encourage pupils within playground games, with a flexible approach and sense of humour is vital.
You will have a calm and positive manner and will assist in promoting positive behaviour.

We are seeking to appoint new staff to join our dedicated and hardworking cleaning team.
As part of our cleaning team, you will maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of our school and boarding house. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage however not essential, as training will be provided to successful candidates. You should have good organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, be a team player and have the ability to work with limited supervision.
Duties will include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, toilet cleaning and other tasks as required. Use of machinery may be required to complete some tasks for example, floor cleaning machinery.
