Welcome to

Senior School

Located within our beautiful 87-acre campus, our Senior School is a remarkable place for your son or daughter to continue their educational journey.

Our small classes of enthusiastic pupils and inspirational teachers result in happy pupils who have a love of learning and achieve outstanding academic results. As well as the ability to build their bespoke curriculum from Year 9, our pupils have a full and exhilarating programme of daily enrichment activities that take their learning beyond the classroom.

It is our incredibly welcoming and friendly community that sets us apart. We inspire our pupils to achieve more than they previously thought possible. We do this by providing them with the widest possible range of experiences both inside and outside the classroom, to broaden their minds and create new opportunities for every pupil to thrive.

At Ipswich High School we are renowned for ensuring our pupils are equipped to be so much more than highly skilled at passing exams. We believe great results are a by-product of an outstanding education. We provide the widest possible range of experiences, both in and outside of the classroom, to create new opportunities for every pupil to thrive.

Curriculum

Whatever your childโ€™s starting point, they will receive an outstanding academic experience at Ipswich High. Year-on-year, our students receive exceptional GCSE and A Level results and enter some of the most prestigious universities.

The breadth of our curriculum across the Senior School is impressive and offers a unique and progressive educational experience. In Year 7 and Year 8, pupils experience a wide variety of subjects, allowing them to make a more informed decision when selecting the areas of study they wish to continue in Year 9 in preparation for their GCSEs in Years 10 and 11. As well as the core GCSE subjects, we offer 16 optional subjects for our pupils to choose from.

Whichever stage your son or daughter joins us, they will be studying alongside hard-working, ambitious and friendly young people who, like them, want to have the best possible chance of achieving their dreams.
