Prep Make a Difference Enrichment

In our Make a Difference Enrichment group, we have been working really hard on a project to help others. This year, we are taking part in the Young Citizens Challenge, and we decided that we wanted to support people who are homeless or going through a hard time. We know how lucky we are to have homes, food, water, and warmth, and we wanted to help people who don’t always have these things. We found a charity called Hands On, who are running a winter campaign called ‘Wrap Up’. They collect coats and then sort them into groups for men, women, children, and babies, before giving them to people who really need them. So, from Monday 13th October to Friday 7th November, we are collecting as many coats as we can! Any size, any style – it doesn’t matter, as long as they are still in good condition. Just please remember to empty your pockets before donating. All coats can be brought to Prep Reception or to Miss Mee. We really hope lots of people will join in and donate, because even one coat could make a big difference to someone this winter. This project has been led by Connie C and written by all of us in the group: Connie, Betsy, Tabby, Lucy, and Freya.
