Our Facilities

Our beautiful 87-acre campus is located in Woolverstone, just outside of Ipswich. The spacious site has superb facilities, including a theatre, ICT suites, a 25m competition swimming pool, a Sixth Form suite, cookery rooms, dedicated music rooms and floodlit AstroTurf pitches.

Swimming Pool

Our swimming pool is a twenty-five metre, heated indoor pool with two wet side changing rooms, toilets, and shower facilities. We also have diving boards and kickboards; there is a deck-level viewing gallery. Our pupils use the swimming pool in scheduled lessons throughout the day.

The Hayworth Theatre

The Hayworth Theatre is set within the grounds of Ipswich High School. Our theatre offers a large professional studio stage. This fantastic space is ideal for showcases, theatre productions, rehearsal spaces, conferences, lectures or seminars. The seating is tiered to provide optimal viewing of the stage and can seat up to 450 people.

Dance Studio

Our professional Dance Studio has a Gerfloor Sport M, a non-slip sports hall style floor, with a mirrored wall and ballet barre. It is ideal for dance, Pilates and yoga lessons, practice, and rehearsals throughout the school day.

Cookery Rooms

Our Cookery Studio is an ideal facility for food and nutrition lessons. The rooms measure thirteen metres by five metres, with nine cooking stations. All practical food and nutrition lessons for pupils take place within this workspace.

Astro Turf

Our sand-based Astro Turf pitch has a 2G pitch with floodlights and is the ideal location for hockey practice, training, and matches.

Multi-sport Courts

Our netball/tennis courts are perfect for PE lessons and tournaments. There are four courts available for use.
