Welcome to
Ipswich High School Association

The IHSA (Ipswich High School Association) is a registered charity run by volunteer parents and carers.
We organise events to raise money for some amazing extra-curricular experiences for the kids, as well as building friendships and connections to last a lifetime.
Everyone who has a child at the school is automatically a member, and we work together to build a sense of community within and beyond IHS. We run a thriving second-hand uniform shop, open on certain dates, or you can book a 1:1 personal shopping experience to make sure you have everything you need. We really invite everyone to get involved, whether by attending and supporting or volunteering โ the IHSA is what we all make it.

The Second Hand Uniform Shop
Located in Woolverstone Hall, our shop is open on set dates during each term, or available by appointment. Email us with any questions about what youโre looking for and how we can help.
If you would like to sell or donate any items, they can be dropped off at Senior or Prep Reception at any time. If you would like to receive shop credit or payment for the items when sold, all items must be labelled and your contact details included on the specified form; otherwise, donations will automatically go to the IHSA.

IHS FEST
This year weโre upscaling our summer fete to a Festival! A Ferris wheel, Helter Skelter, fairground rides, bands stage and so much more, the IHS Family and friends will see in the Summer Solstice in style from our inimitable vista across the Orwell River.
Christmas Fayre
This is always a fun way for all kids and families to round off the Autumn term, and to stock up on Christmas presents! From Santaโs Grotto, fairground games, Christmas Carols and delicious treats, the Christmas Fayre helps everyone spend (and gain!) a few pounds in aid of the IHSA.
Family Events
We run lots of events throughout the year such as the Welcome Back BBQ, Bonfire Night, Charity Gala Dinner, Family Bingo, and refreshments stands for our school musicals. Weโre always open to new ideas and extra hands to help, so do come and join us, whether youโre interested in joining the committee or just helping out for the odd hour. Weโd love to hear from you.
