Enrichment
Beyond the Classroom

Enrichment is an integral part of our pupils’ education and experience here at Ipswich High School.
At Ipswich High School we offer our co-curricular programme (we call this ‘Enrichment’). The 300 clubs and activities we offer as part of our Enrichment Programme are embedded as part of the school day and provide a wealth of diverse and engaging activities to our pupils at every stage of their education. From academic enrichment activities to sports and arts clubs, our enrichment activities promote fun, teamwork, and a commitment to learning and self-improvement.

“Our Enrichment Programme is embedded as part of the school day and underlines our commitment to the holistic education of the whole child.”
Mr Mark Speakman, Director of Curriculum & Achievement
Prep School Enrichment
Our enrichment programme at Ipswich High School Prep encourages self-expression, creativity, and confidence in a supportive environment. Whether students seek an introduction to coding or wish to showcase their talents in school performances, a variety of activities are available. From Drama Club to Sailing, we offer diverse opportunities for personal growth and exploration.
Senior School Enrichment
In our Senior School our Enrichment Programme offers ample opportunities for students to identify and develop their passions with activities in Art, Design, Sports, and Music, students explore diverse interests. Pupils in Year 9 and above are encouraged to build their leadership experience through volunteering at a Prep School enrichment activity.
Sixth Form Enrichment
Sixth Formers are encouraged to get involved with enrichment activities in the Prep School to become mentors to younger pupils and gain vital leadership skills. We also offer several enrichments to enhance personal statements and university or apprenticeship applications such as Duke of Edinburgh, Higher Project Qualification, Extended Project Qualification and Model United Nations.
