Welcome back

Our Alumni

The Old Woolverstonian Alumni Network

The Old Woolverstonian Alumni Network was founded in 2018 to keep past students throughout our 140-year history in touch with one another and the school. The IHS Alumni Association is open to former pupils (both Old Girls and Old Boys), parents and staff and is free to join.

Please complete the form below to become a member of the Association, receive termly e-newsletter updates from the school and allow us to contact you in the future. Each e-newsletter sent will give you the option to ‘opt out’ of future communications and your data will be used for alumni communications purposes only. We are committed to keeping your records as accurate and up-to-date as possible. Please contact us if any of your details change. We process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

If you have any questions, please contact alumni@ipswichhighschool.co.uk

The Old Girls’ Association

Every female student who studied at Ipswich High before September 2018 is invited to join the Old Girls’ Association (OGA). The ‘old girls’ are a diverse and far-flung group of individuals who are always welcome back at the school. Each year, the OGA holds a Spring Lunch and an AGM.

If you aren’t yet a member but would like to join, please mail:

Charlotte Godfrey, Membership Secretary.

The OGA has a Facebook page to rekindle lost friendships, share memories, advertise OG events, and generally keep the conversation going.

The Old Boys’ Association

From 1951 to 1990, Woolverstone Hall was home to Woolverstone Hall School, a secondary grammar boarding school for boys. To help connect with past Woolverstone Hall pupils more effectively, the OBA has a Facebook group to rekindle lost friendships and share memories of their time at the school.

Explore The Archives

Dive into the rich history of Ipswich High School through the growing digital archives, showcasing a treasure trove of photos, documents, and memorabilia. Both of these archives are managed by the Old Girls’ Association or the Old Boys’ Association.

For those who wish to explore even further, we also offer access to our extensive hard-copy archives, available by appointment outside of term time. To arrange a visit or learn more, please contact us at alumni@ipswichhighschool.co.uk.
